The Rose City Classic is dedicated to providing exhibitors the best show environment possible. We work year round to assure a safe and serviceable environment for the comfort of our exhibitors and the welfare of their dogs.
Please note the early entry closing date for our upcoming shows, is January 4, 2012 . The show schedule listing the judging time for each breed and event should be prepared and available online here about a week after closing.
The Rose City Classic Premium List includes entry forms and detailed show information for all RCC events. The Rose City Classic hosts 18 independent specialties on Wednesday, and numerous supported entries within the all-breed shows. There are 4 days of all-breed dog shows with obedience and agility trials, Thursday through Sunday.
Special events include a
CGC Test on Friday and educational seminars and health clinics throughout the week end.
Rose City Classic is the regional host for the Eukanuba Breeders' Stakes, a competition dedicated to recognizing excellent breeders and their breeding programs. The members of the AKC clubs that make up the Rose City Classic enthusiastically support this fabulous competition and thank Eukanuba for giving us the chance to honor our best. Groups will be determined Friday night, following Best in Show. The winner of the seven groups will be determined following Best in Show on Saturday night, January 21, 2012.
Meet the Breeds is an exciting new attraction at the Rose City Classic that provides the public a great opportunity to meet local AKC breeders and receive information about a breed they are considering for their family. It will also give them a chance to interact with a given breed and ask questions. Meet the Breeds will be offered on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. New breeds awaiting AKC approval will be on display Thursday.

Special rates have been negotiated with many nearby hotels. A shuttle bus has been arranged to carry exhibitors between the headquarters hotel, Red Lion Hotel on the River (503-283-4466) and the show site. Be sure to tell them you are with the Rose City Classic Dog Shows when you make your reservation to get the negotiated rate.
